After studying catering in College for 2 years I left with a National Diploma in Hotel Catering and Institutional Management and worked in various catering establishments at managerial level until the opportunity arose to run a small business with my mother.

After getting married, traveling around the UK with my husband as part of his job, I returned to Llandudno to start a family. After having two children I decided to return to college to study HND in Hotel and Catering Management while they were still young.

Whilst studying at college I started work at Pizza Hut where I got to the level of a support manager. I left Pizza Hut to take up the position of Assistant Manager at Coffee @ Ottakar's. This gave me the opportunity to spend more time with my family - particularly in the evenings.

I have recently returned after maternity leave to the smell of freshly ground coffee at Ottakar's. I will be working closely with the management team to create a successful unit and aid expansion.

I began working for badgers café and patisserie when I was sixteen, at weekends and during school holidays.

I started to work full time at Badgers when I left school at 18.

I was offered the chance to work at Waterstones Coffee Shop when it opened in Sept 2002 and decided to take the job as I wanted a new challenge.

When a management Trainee opportunity became available in 2004, I was pleased to take the role. I have attended numerous training courses and I am being mentored by senior management. It is a challenge to attain Investors in people standard and gain more knowledge within the workplace. I hope to use key skills I have gained in helping the future development of the Badgersgroup.
